FEBRUARY
02.11.10--Western Mystery Class Continues for 12 more weeks!
This course is an alchemical series of lessons, taught by David Harry Davis, based on the patterns of the Kabbalah and the Tarot. They will give us a map showing the path of the Soul, the journey from spirit to matter and back again to spirit. We will study the basic symbolic language of Nature, and explore what color, sound, number, scent, myth, religion, taste, astrology, geometry, animals, vegetables, stones, states of consciousness are--and how they fit together.
David Harry Davis, owner of Seven Rays Bookstore for 29 years, has spent 40 years studying and teaching this material. He was a Brother in a Holy Order and is a Physician of the Soul.

On this day, the Hindu Festival of Pradosh, dedicated to The Lord Shiva, join us for Kirtan Devotional Chanting, along with Mark Nanni (guitar and harmonium), Keri DePriest (harmonium) and Annabelle Heine (fiddle).

02.27.10--Adventure in the World--A Day at Highland Forest!
Join us as we have fun in the forest--snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, and enjoying the sacred beauty of nature in Winter. Cross-country ski lessons for beginners are at 10:00 am; advanced classes are at 2:00 pm. We'll meet at Highland Forest in Fabius at 9:30 am, take a ski lesson--or go snow shoeing on the beautiful spruce-lined forest trails . . . share a lunch from the Highland Forest concession stand, warm ourselves by their roaring fire--then go out again to "play."

02.28.10--Sunday Gathering--Patsy Scala--Theme: Belonging
In her lesson entitled "You Belong to My Heart," Patsy Scala will continue her January lesson on presence, and will explore what it means to belong. We belong to organizations; we say that we belong to the one we love--yet how deeply do we understand the implications of these statements? True belonging requires committment . . . connection . . . contribution. True belonging--to a community, a family, or to the world--is an act of deep love. It requires presence to ourselves, to the other and to the cosmos.
